In museo calvariam vidi -- immo calvariae partem.

Sic tibi, dulcissima, has litteras pangere ausus sum.

Quam verecunda es, quam placida. Tales pudicitia Vestales ipsas deceat. Parva es et delicata. Subtile tuum corpus credo gracileque, tamen sub stola saeclorum texta occultatur. Vacuum nunc! Sedes olim omnis leporis infuit. Secretum sententiarum intimarum longe intuitus sum. Utinam cogitationes tuas, o musa, sciam. Audiam tibi dolores ac gaudia, morer tibi somnia desideriaque. Historias sescenti mihi narres -- sed siles, cara inscita, siles.

i'm afraid my latin isn't up to working out whether you've found a job yet, but if you are still looking i thought you might be interested in this vacancy we have:

http://www.sp5.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/Internet/GetDetails.details?jobref=EPS/35278

the company website is
http://www.artifax.net

the job advert doesn't describe the whole job as i see it (& i'll be having words with the person who wrote it =). basically, the job is to write stuff for us. we need a lot of content written, for the website, for marketing materials, internal documentation. part (but by no means all) of the job will be filling in tender documents, which are basically long specifications cum questionnaires that organisatons like councils have to send out when they want to buy software. the suppliers have to answer all the questions, and the one that says "yes" the most makes the sale. a lot of the skills required would be the same as those for desktop publishing (excellent written english, lightweight HTML, design & layout) which is why i thought of you.

the worst thing about it is that it's in epsom, surrey, about 30 minutes overland from waterloo.

apologies if this is inappropriate or unsuitable.

that first link doesn't seem to work. the job reference is EPS/35278 and if you paste that into the job reference box and click "go" it should get you there.

on balance, yes, sure.

i know our recruitment consultant is professional enough that it won't make any difference in the final analysis, but it should ensure that you don't get written off for not ticking some particular box in the (possibly incorrect) person specification he has been provided with.

(obviously i could be wrong in my impression of what the role entails, and i know very little about your background, so it might of course not be right & i'm not making any promises etc...)
